Flexible Multi-Core Rubber Mine Cable for Heavy-Duty Use

Category:

Application of welding cable

Welding Cables are flame retardant, oil resistant, resilient, resists compression cuts and abrasion,
durable, and survives rough handling. Designed for use as arc welding leads from the secondary side of the power
source, typical of welders and welding generators. Not for primary voltage.

Construction of welding cable

Welding Cables are manufactured using annealed rope-stranded bare copper conductor as per ICEA
S-75-381. A paper tape separates the conductor insulation. A medium-duty EPR jacket is extruded onto the
cable. EP or Hypalon jackets are available. 600 volt spark tested.

Standard of welding cable

ASTM B-3 ASTM B1732, ICEA S-175-381, IEC 254-1.

Specification of welding cable

Medium Duty jacket made accordance with ICEA S-75-381 – Portable and Power Feeder Cables for Use in
Mines and Similar Locations or IEC 245-1
600 Volt Spark tested
