Mineral insulated cables use high-conductivity solid copper conductors, compressed magnesium oxide (MgO) powder as insulation, and seamless copper tubes as sheaths. They are manufactured using special processes for modern building wiring and cables for industries like metallurgy, chemicals, and petroleum.
Due to their unique materials and structure, these cables offer electrical, mechanical, environmental, and environmental protection performance unmatched by organic cables (plastic cables). The conductor and insulation materials have melting points of 1083°C and 2800°C, respectively, allowing the cable to continue safely operating at temperatures over 1000°C during a fire.
Product Features
Fireproof and explosion-proof • Waterproof • High temperature resistance • Radiation and electromagnetic interference resistance • High mechanical strength • Good grounding performance • Halogen-free, smoke-free, and non-toxic • High corrosion resistance • High current carrying capacity and overload capacity • Compact size, light weight, and long life
Application
Suitable for use in the oil, gas and petroleum industries, airports, power and control circuits in emergency lighting systems and fire alarm systems, providing circuit integrity to 950°C.
