Stacker Reclaimer Cable – PUR, Oil & Abrasion Resistant (300/500V–0.6/1kV)

Category:

Stacker Reclaimer Cable

Designed to meet the performance requirements of both North American and Chinese markets, this series of stacker reclaimer cables provides reliable electrical connectivity in industrial automation, electro-mechanical machinery, machine tools, logistics handling systems, and production line controls. The cable is ideal for fixed installation in dry or damp indoor and outdoor locations, and can also be used for non-continuous reciprocating movement without forced traction.

Rugged PUR Jacket for Extreme Industrial Environments

The outer jacket is made of polyurethane (PUR) imported from the USA, enabling the cable to withstand exceptionally harsh industrial conditions, including exposure to corrosive coolants and lubricants. It delivers outstanding oil resistance, superior abrasion resistance, and full protection against microbes, hydrolysis, chemical attack, and UV radiation – effectively shielding the cable from mechanical stress in tough environments. For installations subject to electromagnetic interference, we recommend selecting the shielded variant from this product family.

Applications

  • Industrial automation systems

  • Electro-mechanical equipment and machine tools

  • Logistics and material handling systems (stacker reclaimers, conveyors, etc.)

  • Production line control networks

  • Indoor and outdoor fixed installations in dry or wet conditions

FAQ

1. What types of equipment use a stacker reclaimer cable?
This cable is engineered for stacker reclaimers, bulk material handlers, industrial robots, machine tools, conveyor lines, and other heavy-duty applications that require a rugged power and control connection in aggressive environments.

2. Can this cable be used in drag chains or continuous flexing applications?
No. The stacker reclaimer cable is intended for fixed installation and non-continuous reciprocating movement without forced traction. If you need a cable for continuous flexing or cable track use, please ask about our dedicated flexible cable range.

3. What makes the PUR jacket suitable for harsh conditions?
The PUR jacket provides exceptional resistance to mineral and synthetic oils, abrasion, hydrolysis, UV radiation, and many chemicals. This makes it a preferred choice for outdoor exposure and locations where aggressive coolants or lubricants are present.

4. Is this cable suitable for cold climate installations?
Yes. With a fixed installation temperature range down to -50°C and a moving temperature range down to -40°C, the cable maintains reliable flexibility and electrical integrity in extreme cold.

5. Does the cable meet any flame retardant standards?
Yes. It complies with the flame retardant test requirements of VDE 0472-804 Part B and IEC 60332-1.

6. Is a shielded version available if I have electromagnetic interference?
Absolutely. A shielded variant is available and is recommended whenever electromagnetic interference is present in your installation environment.

7. What voltage rating should I select?
The cable is offered in 300/500V, 450/750V, and 0.6/1kV ratings. Choose the rating that matches or exceeds your nominal system voltage. Our engineers are available to help with selection.

8. How can I obtain a quote or request a sample?
Simply send us your requirements, including conductor size, number of cores, voltage rating, jacket colour, and required length. You will receive a competitive quotation and lead time promptly.
