Application:
THHN wire is meant for use as general purpose wiring for installation in conduit or other recognized raceway. THHN may also be used for machine tool, appliance and control circuit wiring
Construction:
1. Conductor: Highly conductive copper or AA-8000 aluminum
2. Insulation: Color-coded, heat and moisture resistant PVC
3. Jacket: Transparent self-lubricated nylon
Features:
VW-1 flame rating
THHN wire is often dual rated: 90ºC dry and 75ºC wet
Oil resistant: 75ºC for 60d
Furthermore, resistant to acid, abrasion, alkalis, gas, and UV
Standard:
Conductor: It’s available for both of American Wire Gauge and Philippine National Code
(UL83, ASTM B3, ASTM B8, ASTM B801, PEC)
Insulation: UL83
Jacket: UL83
